Projects Coordinator

Job Summary :
The Projects Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating multiple construction and engineering projects to ensure smooth execution and alignment with schedules, budgets, and quality standards. This role acts as a central point of coordination between project teams, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, proper documentation, and timely follow-up on all project activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination & Planning Support
• Assist in developing project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate project activities across multiple teams and disciplines.
• Ensure alignment between project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
2. Progress Monitoring & Reporting
• Track project progress against schedules and highlight delays or risks.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain dashboards and update KPIs for management review.
3. Stakeholder Coordination
• Act as a communication link between project managers, site teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Organize meetings, prepare minutes of meetings (MoMs), and follow up on action items.
• Ensure timely flow of information across all stakeholders.
4. Documentation & Control
• Maintain organized project documentation (drawings, contracts, reports, submittals).
• Track RFIs, approvals, and submittals to ensure timely processing.
• Ensure proper version control and document management.
5. Contract & Commercial Support
• Assist in tracking variations, claims, and contract deliverables.
• Support quantity surveyors and project managers with documentation.
• Maintain logs for change orders and project correspondence.
6. Risk & Compliance Support
• Assist in identifying project risks and tracking mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, standards, and regulations.
• Support health, safety, and environmental documentation and reporting.
Qualifications, skills and requirements
• 3-5 years of experience in construction or project coordination roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or related field.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and project workflows.
• Familiarity with project planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel).
