Quantity Surveyor Engineer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a QS Engineer to support cost estimation, quantity take-offs, budgeting, and cost control activities for consulting and client projects. The role ensures accurate measurement of works, effective cost management, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates.

Develop and monitor project budgets and cost plans.

Track variations, change orders, and cost impacts.

Prepare interim valuations, progress payments, and final accounts.

Analyze tender documents, BOQs, and contracts.

Support procurement and contract administration activities.

Evaluate contractor quotations and payment claims.

Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and financial summaries.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and consultants.

Qualifications, skills and requirements 

 Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

3–7 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost control roles.

Strong knowledge of BOQs, cost estimation, and contract administration.

Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

Proficiency in MS Excel and cost management tools.

Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.
